Hi everyone! I am currently working on a speech for an upcoming event and could really use a second pair of eyes. I have the main ideas down, but I am struggling to make the transitions feel natural and the opening really "hook" the audience. If anyone here has experience with speech writing or public speaking, would you mind taking a look at my draft? I am mainly looking for feedback on the pacing and how to balance a professional tone with some personal storytelling. Any tips on how to make the conclusion more memorable would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help!

My best friend asked me to be his best man and I panicked immediately. I'm terrible at public speaking and had no idea how to write something funny but heartfelt. Found a online and gave them some stories https://essays.studymoose.com/write-my-economics-essay about our friendship. They sent back a draft that actually sounded like me but way more polished. I practiced it a few times and the delivery went perfectly. People laughed at the right moments and the groom actually teared up. Saved me from embarrassing myself in front of two hundred people.
